After nearly 30 years working in the finance and banking industry Jason Smith realised that he could do more to help the people of Regional Queensland if he branched out on his own.
Navigate Finance and Wealth opened its doors in 2018. They provide financial advice to North Queensland families and businesses and believe that you need professional advice from someone who knows you and understands your individual requirements; someone who has knowledge of your complete financial situation and can look at your needs with insight and perspective.

Jason Smith
Jason Smith is the Director of Navigate Finance and Wealth Pty Ltd.
Jason has over 30 years experience in the finance & banking industry after starting at the CBA in Roma in 1988. He’s spent his entire career providing financial services for Regional Queensland families and businesses.
Jason commenced on the front counter in a Customer Service role and worked his way up through the ranks to be a Manager in Business Banking before leaving to complete his Bachelor of Commerce degree at James Cook University in 2003.
In 2006 he started working at NAB as a Business Development Manager in the Broker Division, which over the years has seen him managing a panel of some 250 brokers from Gladstone through to Darwin.
In April 2018, Jason left NAB to start his own mortgage broking/finance business with the focus of helping clients achieve their dreams using the knowledge and experience gained over the years of dealing with Small & Medium business.
Part of Jason's approach is to also spend time with you explaining the different finance options and potential outcomes depending on the strategy you select.
